STEAM Workshop Powering Young Innovators
Renewable Energy Explorers is a three-day morning workshop for grades 5-8 that teaches
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, with a focus on renewable energy.
Activities include:
- Building a 3D printed wind powered charger
- Making a solar oven to cook or dehydrate food
- Learning basic electronics and soldering by building a wheeled Mars Rover
- Making hydrogen and learning about hydrogen-powered vehicles
Two dates available:
Cost: $30 (scholarships available). Renewable Energy Explorers is partially covered by a grant from the Community Foundation.
